A Shared Obsession
These pictures are of Oliver and me outside and then one of Bisous our cat. It seems that Oliver and Bisous share an obsession= The Great Outdoors! You see Bisous was an indoor cat that could go outside when she wanted. Then when we moved to Georgia, we basically had a forest for a backyard with all sorts of wild life etc... and after being outdoors in the forest, Bisous one day got very sick. And so after Zack shoved pills down her throat for 2 weeks, it was decided that Bisous would now be an indoor cat. This did not go over well with Bisous once she got better. And even now at being an indoor cat for the past year or so it is not uncommon for her to "belly ache" as my mom would say at the door to go out. And now the shared obsession: Oliver has recently grown a love of OUTSIDE. Yesterday Zack came to me and said, "I guess we are going to have to start spelling instead of saying certain words." He was referring to the fact that if you say "pool" or "outside" Oliver quickly whips his head around and heads for the door, only to find it shut. Then the tears begin to roll. Nothing is more important than getting outside, it's sad, very, very, sad. Going outside would be fine by me except that we live in Georgia and it is summer, it is warmly humid to say the least. All unnecessary trips outside are usually done early in the morning or to the pool or somewhere air-conditioned. And so even though our cat Bisous cringes at the sight of Oliver and his hair pulling hands, they share more in common than Bisous would like to admit. Taking turns belly aching at the door is only the beginning...........apparently babies enjoy cat food as well!

I love Oliver's crazy hair! He is adorable!
Thanks, I've already had to trim it 3 or 4 times. I think soon he is going to have to go in for a real haircut, my hack job is getting a little wild.
