Happy New Year!!!

I wanted to add this picture Oliver drew for Thanksgiving, I thought he did a great job!

Well Happy New Year one and all! I think 2012 is promising to be a wild year for our family. We've got baby coming soon which always seems to turn life upside down and then Zack scouting out for a job in academia that will hopefully be taking us somewhere for the fall time and who knows what else will happen in between! There is a lot of anticipation of the unknown going on around here which is both exciting and scary at the same time! So here we come 2012.....

But of course I'm always behind and therefore recapping, so here goes a little of Christmas. I don't have the best pictures because most of them are on Zack's camera which I don't know how to download on this computer. But here is what happened. No presents were put out before Christmas morning for the above pictured reason. Ruby strikes again, no present would have been left unopened if she could get her hands on it.
In fact this sweet face pretty much is a toddler of mischief and if there is something she can find to get into, well......consider it done! 5 packages of fruit snacks anyone?
We made some "gingerbread" houses which was a highlight for Oliver.
Ruby's was a bit.....unique......but look at that pouty face! Just imagine a little voice saying, "I do it."
Dad tried to help, but every effort was thwarted. Maybe next year!

Remember Glamour Shots? This picture sort of looks like a Glamour shot, it cracks me up! Why were those SO popular? Anyway, we had a fun Christmas morning seeing what Santa brought and then going to church and then just hanging out at home with a few friends, not to mention a cameo appearance by our friend Chloe! All in all it was a great day. But we did miss our family.

So anyway, I can't promise more updating in 2012 since it all depends on how baby #3 finds his place in our family, nor can I promise a lot of goals to be set and accomplished since there are so many new factors at play this year, but I do hope to have as much fun in 2012 as 2011 with friends and family alike and I wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR!
